Jean is married to the senior pastor, Ron Vestrand, who is the love of her life. They met at Western Michigan University in their senior year, and have been married since 1970. She came on the Agape staff in 2003 working part-time as a receptionist. She feels she experiences the best of two worlds working two days a week and pursuing her life as wife, mother and grandmother the other five days of the week. Her favorite thing in the world is spending time with Ron, her children and grandchildren. Jean enjoys cooking, reading, and working out to stay physically fit.
