The Bible:
We believe the Bible is the inspired and infallible Word of God. The scriptures are the unique, full and final authority on all matters of faith and practice. (Bible reference: 2 Timothy 3:16)
God:
We believe that there is one true, Holy God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. (Bible reference: Mark 12:29 and Colossians 2:9.)
Jesus Christ:
We believe Jesus is an eternal Person of the Trinity. He was united forever with a true human nature by a miraculous conception and a virgin birth. He lived a life of perfect obedience to the Father and voluntarily atoned for the sins of all by dying on the cross as their substitute, accomplishing salvation for all who trust in Him alone. He was raised from the dead after three days by God's power and ascended into heaven to sit at His Father's right hand. (Bible reference: 1 John 2:2 and 1 Corinthians 15:3-5.)
Salvation:
God's purpose in salvation through Jesus Christ is to restore His original desire to have an intimate relationship with mankind. Salvation is wholly a work of God's grace; not the result of human good works and must be appropriated by repentance and faith in Jesus Christ as Lord. (Bible reference: Romans 10:9-13 and 1 John 5:11-12.)
Holy Spirit:
The Holy Spirit is the Third Person of the Trinity. He is given to empower Christians to lead a life of Christ-like character and to accomplish God's will. He uniquely endows each believer with spiritual gifts to build up the body of Christ and to spread the Gospel into all the earth. (Bible reference: Acts 1:7-8 and 1 Corinthians 12:1-11.)
The Church:
There is one True Church Universal, comprised of all those who acknowledge Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. Under the care of pastors and other supportive leadership, its members are to work together in love and unity, intent on the one purpose of glorifying Christ in all that it does. We are commanded in Scripture to gather together to devote ourselves to worship, prayer, teaching the Word of God, water baptism, communion, fellowship and serving one another by using the gifts and talents we have been given by God. (Bible reference: 1 Corinthians 12:12-27 and Ephesians 4:11.)
Human Destiny:
Death seals the eternal destiny of each person. For all mankind, there will be a resurrection of the body into the spiritual world and a judgment that will determine the eternal fate of each person. Believers will be received into eternal communion with God and will be rewarded for the works done in this life. Unbelievers will be separated from God into condemnation. (Bible reference: 1 Corinthians 15:35-50 and Revelation 20:11-15.)
